Cendrillon is closed :(

I am sad.

Cendrillon Restaurant in NYC is closed.

I didn't even get to try their food. I've always wanted to try it. It was listed as one of the Filipino restaurants to try in Time Out's Eating & Dining in NYC book in 2007 and I have that book. I was watching "Life Pinoy Style" just moments ago and they featured the owners of Cendrillon making ukoy. Now, I am craving ukoy. Such a waste that I didn't get to try it! I am upset and feeling very regretful! I should create a list of Filipino restaurants that I should try back here...

There is light at the end of the tunnel, they are opening a new restaurant in late September, called "Purple Yam" in Brooklyn a little bit far! Hmph! But I must try it!

Note to Mr. L: Please, please, please Mr. L, can you take me to "Purple Yam" in Brooklyn when it opens in late September?  Pretty Please? Please add this in your very tight football schedule please make Mrs. L happy? :)
